Excellent stay. Did a lot of research into where to stay in the waterfall area and the Bridal Veil Falls lodge was at the top of the list. It's located off the Historic Scenic Highway that runs down the Columbia River Gorge waterfall area... and right across the street from the parking lot for Bridal Veil falls. Beatrice and her doggies were there to greet us upon arrival. Super friendly. Loved the room - so beautiful! Huge restoration hardware bath sheets and quality tea/coffee and bath products. My only concern was that Bigfoot was going to come to the window in the middle of the night and stare at us while we slept :) ok not really. Breakfast was delicious.

I cannot say enough about this hidden gem. Located directly across from the park entrance to the falls, it boasts a charming guest cottage surrounded by verdant green forest. From the comfy bed you can look out the picture window or the skylight and see nothing but bright green leaves and moss covered tree trunks. It is the definition of serenity. The hosts are interesting and friendly without being overbearing and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. If you are looking for a secluded getaway, you can't go wrong. As a bonus, you can be the first to arrive at the falls in the morning if you head across the street before breakfast.
